At this cosy bungalow in the quiet village of Stanhoe, enjoy a restful trip with excellent rambling opportunities within the Norfolk Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) just 2.5 miles north. There’s a park across the road, so morning walkies are super easy, and a doggie-friendly pub is just 500 metres away for a relaxing drink. With room for up to six humans and one doggie, it’s ideal for a trip among family or friends with your pet very much included.
The single-storey accommodation is decorated in a homely style, with floral soft furnishings and appetite-whetting images of local scenes on the walls. In the welcoming lounge, sink into comfy sofas and light up the wood burner on chilly nights to create a top-notch sleep spot for your tired-out pet. The kitchen has an attractive monochrome colour scheme and a wood-topped table for enjoying family meals together. All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated in appealing muted shades. In mild weather, make the most of the elegant garden, dotted with mature shrubs and featuring two furnished areas and a BBQ for creating yummy feasts. Make sure you put an extra sausage on for you-know-who!
You’ll find plenty of excellent ball-throwing spots nearby, with the AONB offering mile upon mile of sand dunes, woodland and open farmland. Wells-next-the-Sea is 9 miles to the north, and is the area’s most popular beach (some dog restrictions apply) – from here you can take the Norfolk Coast Path in either direction for a scenic walk. Brancaster Beach (6.5 miles) and Holkham Beach (9 miles) are also dog friendly.
