It''s idyllic setting on the River Bure sets you up for fun days of cruising, stand-up paddleboarding or simply kicking back with a cold drink and absorbing the views. And with a balcony and sundeck within the holiday home, there are plenty of relaxing spots to ensure you have a restorative break. With room for up to six humans and two canine guests, this magical property is just right for a family or a group of friends.

This semi-detached accommodation has an attractive wooden exterior and a reverse layout, with the best views on show from the living area at the top. Its semi-vaulted ceiling, skylights and balcony give this space a pleasant airy feel. It’s got plenty of sofas plus an impressive entertainment offering on the TV – lovely for relaxing with your pets after a busy day exploring. Open the French doors to let the outside in and on warm evenings, enjoy leisurely meals on the decking outside.

To explore the immediate area, why not hire a boat locally and float along the water to the dog-friendly pub 400 metres away for a scenic drink with your pet? When it’s time for a change of scene, head to Waxham (11.5 miles) where there’s a lovely beach with no doggie restrictions – your pets can bathe, frolic and run to their hearts’ content! Take dog-pleasing strolls along the sand then enjoy some salt-and-vinegary chips, saving one or two for your pets, of course. At Happisburgh Beach (11.5 miles), dogs are welcomed north of the lighthouse. Fancy swapping the aquatic vistas for some urban landscapes? The cathedral city of Norwich (11.5 miles) is a great option for a day out with your pets.

Lovely clean property. Very comfortable. Good local pubs, food at the Swan Inn was good despite what the trip advisor reviews say. Chinese takeaway good too.

The house was really spacious, and very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of crockery and glasses etc. There is 3 good pubs within walking distance, all dog friendly.
