Have a ball on the Suffolk coast with a stay in the picturesque village of Wangford, just 3.5 miles from the coast with its selection of fabulous dog-friendly beaches. Combining heritage features with modern decor, this beautifully presented holiday home is an incredibly appealing place for families or friends to stay. The place sleeps five guests and one dog, offering calm and comfort for each and every member of the pack. Enjoy warm evenings in the unique detached garden, an outdoor space located along a short pathway behind the property and offering a lawn and patio with furniture and space for your pet to play.

On the ground floor, the property is split into three distinct spaces, a lounge, diner and kitchen, separated by archways and old stable doors that lend the place a characterful feel. You’ll find an abundance of space for positioning your dog’s favourite bed, so pack up their bedding, bowl and toys from home to create a sense of home comfort. Sleeping dogs can be left to lie down here as you head to bed, finding a similar level of homely comfort in the three well-presented bedrooms on the first floor. These rooms are accompanied by a family bathroom.

Leave no stick unfetched in Suffolk’s delightful coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, exploring beaches and seaside walkways with Fido at your side. You’ll find Southwold Beach (3.5 miles) to be relatively restriction-free, with only some zones prohibiting dogs throughout the peak season and plenty of room for ball games on the pebbled shores. Close by you can also explore walkies along the River Blyth (2 miles), eventually following the water down to Walberswick (5 miles) where the river flows into the sea.

This is a lovely comfortable well equipped and spacious cottage. It is very convenient for the village shop and the pub. Also well placed for visiting coastal towns and villages. Garden is separate from the house, accessed by a narrow walkway.

The cottage was easy to find and in a lovely quiet location. Not far from the A12 if you wanted to travel further.We spent time cycling and would recommend Southwold and Dunwich Heath and village. The Angel pub in the village was good for food. The cottage had everything you needed.

Lovely cottage, bathroom bit of a squeeze getting in and out if shower but would stay again cosy and warm. Local pub more like a restaurant

The cottage is well located with a local shop only a few minutes walk and also a playground and football field which might help burn off some extra energy of children. It is a 8-10 min drive to Southwold which is where our kids wanted to go most days. The Master Bedroom is well sized, the second/double bedroom was OK but not a lot of space around tRead morehe bed and the third/single bedroom was fine for our smallest child. The cottage had everything we needed and we had a great time on our trip. Hide
