This is a fabulous house, very comfortable but stylish, well equipped, warm and spacious. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and as we left we met the lovely cleaner and gardeners - so friendly! We cooked most evenings so its great for self catering but there are also great places to eat out within walking distance. The garden was glorious eveRead moren in April, the beach was a 10 minute walk, coastal path even closer for the more active ones in our group who loved swimming and bodyboarding. For those with limited mobility there are a lot of steps from car parking to the house but once in the house theres downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms and the view is ever changing. Plenty of interesting places to visit nearby - it really is a perfect place for a holiday, dont hesitate to book! Hide

A fabulous house in an amazing location with beautiful views over Praa Sands. Superbly equipped & amazingly comfortable beds ensured a great nights sleep lulled by the sound of the waves. We really couldnt fault anything and have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Gorgeous location! Perfect for popping to the beach. Very comfy with blankets/games etc provided. Well appointed kitchen- even had oven gloves!! Comfy beds and plenty of pillows. We wanted lots of space for the five of us in case of bad weather. In fact, the weather was gorgeous but we still loved all the spaces and stunning sea views. The kitchen was lovely for two of us sharing the cooking. Everyone agreed that we loved Pooh Corner, as did our cockapoo!

Beautiful clean, quiet house. Fantastic location and very well appointed. Easily accessible beach, bar and cafe, also great place for walking if thats your thing. Very enjoyable, everyone loved it. Very homely.

Pooh Corner literally took our breath away from the moment we pulled up in the car. Firstly to be greeted with a stunning garden, complete with quaint pathways, well loved rockerys, a designated wet suit area and a patio for our family to enjoy a bbq or three. Then the real magic, turn around to see the views across Praa Sands beach and soak up thRead moreis tiny piece of paradise along the south coast. The house itself far exceeded our expectations in terms of size and equipment. This really was a home from home, beautifully decorated from top to bottom with tasteful touches at every turn. With sea views from almost every window it was difficult to tear yourself away. The owners of Pooh Corner had obviously created this wonderful property with love, thinking of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay in comfort, even down to the most thoughtful welcome as you arrive through the doors. My family (mother, sister, myself) stayed for one week. It's a lovely spacious property with a view to die for! It is decorated beautifully and almost everything seems to have been thought of, with all the appliances and comforts that one could wish for in a holiday cottage. The best television I've encountered in a holiday cottage and good wifi, large freezer, plus large dish washer, microwave, nespresso machine etc. The neat and large garden is spectacular - clearly tended with love. The view is just magical, although the sea was a bit further away than we were expecting from the photographs - a 15 minute walk for us. Pooh Corner is a real gem. It sits in a beautifully elevated position with uninterrupted sea view which you never get tired of come rain or shine. The beach is fabulous and quiet, and is dog friendly except for July and August when restrictions apply. The house is a lovely comfortable open plan space perfect for family or friend groups.
