Watch the joy on Rex’s face when you take him to run along the sandy beach and through the beautiful Dorset countryside. This two-bedroom cottage, which sleeps three guests and has a wood burner, is in a fabulous position in Swanage for dog walks of all kinds. Just 1.5 miles from the pup-friendly northern end of Swanage Beach, and 2.5 miles from scenic Durlston Park, you will enjoy watching his tail wag non-stop throughout your stay.
Step inside to find yourselves in an inviting lounge with beautiful, exposed beams and stone walls, plus a flagstone floor that is ideal for wet or sandy paws to be dried down on. Once cleaned up, let Rex stretch out on the rug while you fire up the wood burner in the striking inglenook fireplace. Sink back into the sumptuous sofa to warm yourself too and perhaps watch the Smart TV. Wander through to the kitchen/diner to open the back door on sunny days and let Rex amble outside. Feed him in here and make tasty meals for the human members of your group to enjoy at the breakfast table. The family bathroom is also downstairs. Ascend the narrow, winding, cottage-style stairs to discover your charming bedrooms, a king-size room, and a cosy single. Outside, spend sunny afternoons out in the pretty courtyard garden, letting Rex nose about while you enjoy a cup of tea and a bite to eat at the table out here.
Venture 4 miles to Studland, where you can stroll out along the golden sands and let Rex bound in and out of the sea as much as he likes, any time of year. You can pick up the South West Coast Path here, or closer to Swanage, take him on exciting walks with dramatic views out over the cliffs and open water.
