This delightful, dog-friendly cottage nestles in the hamlet of Gayle, 0.5 miles from Hawes, at the heart of the national park. Sleeping three guests, the two-bedroom hideaway could be perfect for a small family or a couple with a canine companion.

Take your beloved pet inside to find cosy accommodation. The beamed lounge, with its wood burner set into a brick fireplace, is a great space for relaxing together after your exciting excursions into your surroundings. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped to help you prepare and sit down to tasty meals made with the Yorkshire produce you have bought and has space for your happy hound to have his dinner too. I enjoyed staying in Hillyard once I could get into the property. The key safe wouldnt open. Eventually I was helped by someone who lived nearby. Later in the week he advised I am not the first to have that problem at Hillyard.

Well equipped and warm, with a useful out-house to store boots. Lovely small cottage. Perfect area for Dales walks and lots of places to eat and visit in Hawes abs surrounding villages. Note there is no parking but can park down the road. Apart from that perfect for us with the dogs for a long weekend of walking.
