Bring together your nearest and dearest – and your favourite four-pawed pals – in this stunning holiday home in Walberswick. The spacious property sleeps ten guests and has a sociable layout, choice of seating areas, two gardens, and breathtaking sea views. Day trips from Walberswick include Dunwich, Thorpeness, and Aldeburgh (all within 20 miles).
The bright and airy family home has a contemporary style, with chic furniture and luxurious touches throughout. The heart of the house is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a cosy wood burner for the hounds to snuggle besides, large dining table to seat everyone, breakfast bar, comfortable seating, and a football table to keep younger guests entertained. With direct access to the garden, this is the ideal place to set up the dog beds. The ground floor also has a king-size bedroom, shower room, and snug. Three more bedrooms are located on the first floor (which is a woof-free zone), one of which has an en-suite shower room. There’s also a Jack and Jill bathroom. The final bedroom is on the second floor and enjoys sea views and access to a shower room (the sloping ceilings mean you may experience restricted head height in some areas). The property has two fabulous gardens: to the front is a sunny shingle/decked area, with outdoor furniture. There’s also a handy hose for cleaning sandy paws. The rear garden has a large lawn for the pups to play on, a table tennis table, and patio for al fresco dining.
Walberswick is extremely paw friendly, with a number of eateries welcoming waggy-tailed diners, and a beautiful beach that allows woofers all year. In summer, hop on the seasonal foot/paw ferry to Southwold, where you and the hounds can explore the iconic pier, admire the historic lighthouse, and stroll along the pretty promenade.
