A charming period property in the heart of Heacham, this delightful cottage dates back to the 18th century and has been sympathetically updated to provide a cosy holiday home for couples, friends and smaller families. Set in a charming spot on the village green with views towards the church, the property makes a lovely getaway for three guests, with ample space for a canine friend. Featuring a welcoming wood burner, exposed brickwork and a traditional carrstone facade, this light and tasteful cottage makes a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful coastline and tranquil countryside of a stunning part of Norfolk.

Entering this fresh and light-filled cottage, the inviting lounge/diner features plenty of seating, a handy dining table and a wood burner set in an inglenook, providing a sweet and characterful space for you all to get together and relax at the end of a memorable day. Heading through, the stylishly updated kitchen is full of character. An open-tread staircase leads up to the first floor where you will find a refreshing family bathroom and two bright, colourful bedrooms: a cheery single and a lovely king-size with exposed brickwork and a low, sloping ceiling. We had a lovely stay during a mini heatwave, and whilst all was hot outside, the living room stayed deliciously cool. The property is well appointed, and the super comfy bed was well appreciated. WE didn't want to drive in the evening, so became very familiar with The Fox and Hounds, and The West Norfolk pubs. Both served great food, but for theRead more beer drinkers amongst us, the Fox and Hounds have a micro brewery on the other side of their car park, and they make their own fantastic beers. Hide

We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful cottage. Often dog-friendly cottages feel substandard or not a "treat" to stay in. Here, however, was a cottage which was home-from-home, comfortable, clean - and very welcoming to dogs as well! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.
