This bright and breezy home-away-from-home offers far-reaching sea views and is the perfect destination for friends or family to get away from it all on the gorgeous South Cornwall coast. With one or two canine companions welcome to join you, all the ingredients are there for a fantastic holiday in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Begin to unwind as soon as you open the door of this lovely home. Relax in the conservatory''s comfortable armchairs whilst you take in the view, or cosy up on the plush sofas in the living room whilst Fido snoozes in front of the open fire. Cooking will never be a chore with more of those spectacular views from the kitchen, then serve up a delicious meal at the spacious dining table and plan the next day''s activities over dinner. The inviting master bedroom can also be found on this ground floor, where a comfortable bed sits next to another sea view window. Downstairs, on the lower ground floor, are two twin bedrooms and a stylish shower room. Whether you sleep in a basket or bed, a good night''s sleep will be had by all in this quiet location. Outside, a patio terrace with garden furniture is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening sun-downer with fully enclosed boundaries for Rover to explore.
A 100-metre stroll will bring you to the sweeping sands of Porthleven Beach. At low tide, the beach extends for 3 miles to Gunwalloe. There is a seasonal dog restriction in July and August from 10am to 6pm on the section of the beach directly in front of the village, so head east along the shore to let little legs loose. Alternatively, visit Looe Bar Beach, just over a mile away for year-round unrestricted doggie access. For walkies to get tails wagging, join the South West Coast Path towards Praa Sands and enjoy spectacular cliff-top scenery along the 3.5-mile route. After all that exercise, you and your hound will need refreshment, and there are many dog-friendly cafes and pubs in both Praa Sands and Porthleven. Sample some local ales or a meal of fresh local produce with many establishments serving water bowls and doggie treats for Rover too.
