A gorgeous beach chalet set in the heart of one of the UK’s most popular seaside villages, this holiday home which welcomes up to five guests and two canine companions is quite the find. Centrally located within walking distance of beautiful Croyde Beach - with its big stretch of sand and celebrated surfing conditions - and within metres of the village’s array of shops, dog-friendly pubs and cafes, it’s a great choice for a family or couples travelling with their hounds.
Step through the porch and into a bright and airy open plan living and dining area with kitchenette, featuring large windows, lofty ceilings and big, cosy sofas; it’s a great, multi-purpose space for groups and families. Three well-appointed bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements with one king-size, a single room and a twin, the latter of which is available as a super-king if requested. The master bedroom has patio doors leading outside and both this and the twin room have Smart TVs. Three bedrooms share a family bathroom and underfloor heating runs throughout the chalet. Access the private terrace via patio doors in the kitchen, a delightful sun spot for al fresco dining and for the dogs to catch some rays. The outdoor shower is incredibly handy for rinsing off surfboards, children…and sandy paws.
Located less than 0.5 miles from the curved delights of Croyde Bay and its golden stretch of sand, it’s the ideal retreat for those in search of a traditional bucket-and-spade holiday or an active break, as the area is world-renowned for its surf. The village itself is charming, traditional in façade but laid back and with a welcoming atmosphere; grab a coffee on the go to enjoy at the beach or head to one of the fabulous dog-friendly pubs for a relaxing lunch. Keen walkers will enjoy the many trails you can pick up along the South West Coast Path; National Trust owned Baggy Point is well worth the effort and offers spectacular views across to Saunton Sands (4 miles) and Woolacombe (5 miles).
