Bring three canine companions, and you’ll all have a ball exploring the gorgeous beaches, pretty villages and scenic countryside nearby.
This vibrant, contemporary home boasts an array of superb features. You’ll want to gather around the wood burner in the beautifully decorated lounge – hounds at your feet – and watch the Smart TV or play a board game. For further entertainment head to the games room, where you’ll find table tennis, a dartboard and keyboard. Preparing meals is a breeze in the superbly equipped kitchen, with a breakfast bar and a dining table for six. Upstairs you’ll find three handsome bedrooms: a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room, a king-size, and a twin which can be configured as a super-king-size on request. The two latter bedrooms share a fabulous bathroom. A snug completes the picture: a comfortable room with a Smart TV and PS4, ideal for youngsters. Outside, the enclosed garden has an outdoor shower (perfect for washing sandy paws after a day at the beach) as well as a fire pit, BBQ and dining furniture.
The house is located in the village of St Merryn, which has a range of small shops, cafes and restaurants, plus both the excellent Farmer’s Arms pub or TV chef Rick Stein’s The Cornish Arms. It’s just 3 miles from foodie Padstow, with its variety of high-quality eateries, and within 3 miles of all the ‘seven bays for seven days’ – a beach for each day of the week. All are dog friendly all year except for Trevone, where you’ll need to stick to morning and evening walkies from mid-May till September.
