Located at the end of a pretty terrace, this charming period property offers stylish accommodation for up to four guests in the seaside town of Southwold. You’ll have the seafront, independent shops and dog-friendly pubs all within 300 metres of your front door. Further afield, you can spend hours exploring the sand dunes, coastal marshes and shingle beaches of this glorious AONB with your pet in tow.
Once you’ve admired the attractive brick facade, you’ll enter a welcoming space with gentle colour schemes, quality wooden furniture and tasteful decorative touches. The open-plan living area has comfy sofas plus a dining table and chairs, as well as a wood burner for keeping you all warm on chilly nights. As the dog sprawls out on the rug, you can watch something on the TV or read a chapter of your book. There’s a second sitting room, also with a wood burner, giving you another space for chilling out with your loved ones. During your stay, you and your pet can also enjoy some fresh air without leaving the property thanks to a good-sized courtyard equipped with garden furniture.
For morning walks your faithful companion will go mutts for, walk 500 metres to Southwold Common which backs onto local marshland and River Blyth wetlands. The main beach at Southwold is accessible to dogs during the cooler months, while the slightly wilder Denes Beach (0.5 miles) has no dog restrictions at all. Towards the north, Covehithe Beach (5 miles) also welcome dogs all year round and is located within a nature reserve offering plenty more walking routes you can sniff out with your pet.
