Whether celebrating a special birthday or anniversary, or simply getting together with friends or family, this superb house has glorious sea views and plenty of space in which to relax and make unique memories. It’s set right by the beach in a peaceful village between Lowestoft and Southwold, with walkies from the front door.
This wonderful Victorian house has excellent facilities for guests of all ages. The huge, open-plan kitchen/diner boasts a long table where you can all gather for sociable meals before spending quality time together either in the lounge or in the basement games room where there’s a home cinema, pool table and piano. Head to the first floor and you’ll find four bedrooms. Three can be configured as either twins or super-king-size, and two of these have en-suite bathrooms; the fourth is a bunk-bed room for two with an en-suite shower room. On this floor, there’s also a family bathroom and a separate WC. The top floor offers another four bedrooms, of which one is a twin/super-king-size with a kitchenette and en-suite shower room. The others are a single with an en-suite shower room, and two rooms that each house a child’s raised cabin bed and a small single bed, sharing a family bathroom. After a day at the beach, you can rinse off in the shower outside the back door, then choose between relaxing on the terrace while the youngsters play or grilling a meal on the BBQ on the south-facing patio.
Your four-pawed friends will adore zooming around on Kessingland’s huge beach, much loved, too, for its wild swimming and water sports. The village has cafes and pubs, while Lowestoft, 7 miles, offers more amenities, and Southwold, 9 miles, is Suffolk’s iconic resort with an array of shops, galleries and places to eat and drink.
