Would definitely recommend. Great location. Perfect for our family with the 2 bedrooms and upstairs/downstairs bathrooms. Living area and kitchen superb. The use of the washing machine and tumble dryer was a bonus, and being able to adjust the heating was great. We have been to Appledore most years and stayed in other accommodation but this will beRead more a place we will definitely look at booking again. Hide

This rental wasnt just clean it was spotless on arrival. Everything is there to enjoy a quiet weekend, and the equipment is good quality. Whilst the layout is a bit different with a downstairs bathroom my favourite was the very good shower and comfortable towels. For those with a dog note that there is no garden so you need to with them to let themRead more out. Hide

Lovely, modern cottage tucked away where you wouldnt expect! Living space is on the first floor with full bathroom downstairs, so people with a mobility problem may find this challenging, however, a stairgate to keep youngsters safe is a very thoughtful addition. Fully equipped with modern appliances, clean and cosy. The only "down-side" is a coRead moremplete lack of outside space/ garden if you are travelling with dogs, and due to the area being a working quay, not a great deal of easy to reach green space. Nicely presented. However, the shower room being downstairs and the steepness of the stairs make this a bit of a challenge for less than spritely guests

Dont let the external approach put you off as the interior more than makes up for it. This is more of an appartment than a cottage, with the property accessed down a passageway and the main door leading into an utility area and downstairs shower room with stairs up to open plan kitchen/lounge/dinner, a small toilet room and two bedrooms. When we arRead morerived the heating was full blast and it was very warm but we just turned it down and opened windows. I imagine however it could be very hot in hot weather. There is no outside space but you are on the doorstep of Appledore and the quay area so it wasnt missed. The property has no views as such, and rather looks out onto neighbouring roofscapes but we didnt find that a problem and in fact made it even more private. The property is extremely well kitted out with everything thought of. It is lovely, modern and clean with plenty of room for our family of four and dog. The location is great and we were lucky to get parking on the road outside most days. All in all a great property for a weeks holiday exploring what North Devon and Cornwall has to offer. Hide
