Escape to the country in this luxurious log cabin which welcomes families and Fido, too. Located on the outskirts of Mynytho, it’s surrounded by great walks and is only a couple of miles from the dog-friendly beaches of Abersoch and Llanbedrog.

You’ll really feel at home in this beautifully designed cabin, which includes so many thoughtful touches. The open-plan living space is fabulously welcoming, with seating gathered around a TV and wood burner-effect electric fire, shared with a dining area for six. The country-style kitchen has floor space for your furry friend’s bowls, and there is an entrance porch with space for muddy boots and leads. On the same level, you’ll find two chic double bedrooms plus a third, compact bedroom which has a single bunk bed over a double. All three rooms share the elegantly tiled shower room. Patio doors from the lounge area lead out to a decked terrace, from which you can soak up panoramic views of the rolling countryside. With dining furniture and a BBQ, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening meal, while the patio to the side is the place to catch the last rays of the sun in the evenings.

A countryside location makes this cabin ideal for a peaceful break, yet it is only 2 miles from the popular resort of Abersoch, where you can explore the variety of boutique shops and enjoy a great choice of cafes and restaurants. Fans of water sports will want to get out on the waves – from sailing to hiring a pedalo, it’s all available – and the whole beach is dog friendly from October to March, with a specific section for pups in busier months. The delightful village of Llanbedrog is 2.5 miles away, with Porth Neigwl (Hell''s Mouth) Beach, just 3.5 miles away.

The accommodation was quiet, clean and well placed. It was a cold week but the heaters were very good. We enjoyed our week!

For the most part the place was clean, apart from kitchen utensils & the cupboards need to be cleaned. There were silverfish in the cupboards. Also there wasnt any gas in bbq, luckily the people next door let us use their gas. It also wasnt clear on the website that the cottage was in fact a caravan in a caravan site, rather than an actual cottageRead more. Possibly wouldnt want to stay there if it was any colder than this past weekend, as the heating was not very strong on the one night we needed to use it. It was however quiet and had a nice balcony overlooking a valley, and we were able to have breakfast and dinner a couple of days. Hide
