The ground floor also has a lovely shaker-style kitchen. Upstairs, the first floor offers a beautiful double room with a four-poster bed alongside a chic family bathroom. Further stairs lead up to the second floor and two light, relaxing single bedrooms. From the first floor landing you can step out onto the snug rooftop terrace. Fully enclosed, this is an ideal spot for a morning coffee as you and your pet get ready to discover everything Whitby has to offer.
The cottage is on the eastern bank of the River Esk, with a range of pubs, shops and cafes to enjoy, many of them pet-friendly. Your canine pal can help you up the 199 Steps which lead to the remains of Whitby Abbey where you can take in some magnificent sea views. Whitby has a sandy beach where dogs are welcome, though there are some seasonal restrictions. Your pooch can also join you for a stroll in Pannett Park, on a trip on the North York Moors Railway, or for a short voyage with the Captain Cook Experience.
