Have a ball with your canine companion at this stunning traditional cottage in a quiet spot close to the beach, pubs, shops, and restaurants in Croyde. It has heaps of original features and lots of space for a large group of friends or family, a twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, and a pretty garden with a patio.
Extended to add more space, the cottage still has heaps of character and incredible features throughout, including wooden beams and floors, cottage doors and exposed brickwork. Step inside the slate-floored hallway and into the living room, with space for everyone to sit together and watch the Smart TV or an old movie, and French doors lead out to the garden. Enjoy sociable mealtimes in the spacious kitchen/diner with a well-appointed, contemporary kitchen for preparing delicious spreads and plenty of space to eat them. The twin bedroom, with a TV, and shower room (with the washing machine) are also on the ground floor and the other three bedrooms are upstairs, two cosy doubles and a twin (or king) room, as well as a family bathroom and a separate WC. Take your cuppa outside and sit on the peaceful patio while the kids and canine play in the pretty garden.
Head from the cottage to Billy Budd’s paved pathway which leads to the beautiful, horseshoe-shaped beach (0.5 miles), a popular spot for walking, rock-pooling, paddling, and surfing. Pick up the coast path from the clifftop and walk to Baggy Point (3.5 miles), visit Woolacombe beach (5 miles), three miles of golden sand and azure waters, and Saunton Sands (2.5 miles) and UNESCO Biosphere Braunton Burrows Reserve behind it. After a fun day out exploring, go out for dinner or grab fish and chips at one of the many eateries in Croyde.
