Delight in spending dog-friendly days together on the golden sand or in the rolling green Devon countryside. This exceptional, five-bedroom retreat sleeps 10 human guests and welcomes pups too. Just 1 mile from the South West Coast Path, it is also just 1.5 miles from the glorious beach at Putsborough, most of which is dog friendly all year round.
Follow furry feet up slate steps and into the three-storey house. Amble on through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to rustle up delicious dinners and special treats for your friends and family, including your furry chum. Dine together, chat to the chef from the comfort of the sofa, read a book or watch TV. Your pet can recline on the floor as you all gather round the table for lively games. The lounge, with its Smart TV, is another great social space. A WC is also downstairs. Give soft ears a last stroke before bed, then make your way upstairs. A king-size bedroom, a double and two bunk rooms are on the first floor. One of the bunk rooms has a single bed above a double, while the other features two singles. There is a shower room and a bathroom at this level. Climb steep stairs to another double bedroom and a shower room, with some restricted head height. An outhouse encompasses a wet room and utility room for rinsing off after trips to the beach. Play fetch with your pal on the south-facing lawn. Bask in the sunshine together on the patio or deck. There is parking for three cars.
Venture 2.5 miles to dog-friendly Saunton Sands, with its great, open stretches. Organise a group walk out to Baggy Point, 2 miles away, with its panoramic sea views. Follow a section of the 180-mile Tarka Trail with your waggy-tailed walking companion.
