One of a group of seven stone-built cottages, this imaginatively updated former dairy makes a fantastic holiday retreat for couples and smaller families exploring a beautiful part of the Northumberland countryside. Set on a peaceful working farm, this spacious barn conversion offers cosy accommodation for up to four guests, with plenty of room for a canine companion. Ideally situated between the glorious Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines, the property has a range of charming features including timber beams, stable-style doors, a wood burner and access to a shared hot tub and summer house.

Entering this stylish getaway you will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Featuring a beamed ceiling, plenty of seating, a TV and wood burner, the friendly lounge is an ideal space to sit back and unwind at the end of a great day exploring a beautiful part of Northumberland. You can enjoy a meal together round the dining table to the rear of the room, next to the sleek and fully equipped country-style kitchen area. There are two fresh and relaxing bedrooms: a cheerful double and a cosy twin, both decorated in warm, relaxing shades. There’s also a refreshing family bathroom. Going outside, the large shared lawn has plenty of space for your pet to exercise as you enjoy a BBQ, relax in the summer house or take a soak in the shared hot tub.

Brampton (2 miles) has some lovely pet-friendly places to eat and drink in before you set off to follow the route of Hadrian’s Wall and explore historic locations including the Roman forts of Birdoswald and Housesteads, both within 8 miles. Other pet-welcoming location include Talkin Tarn Country Park, Gelt Woods and Geltsdale, within 7 miles. Both Northumberland National Park and the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are within 5 miles.
