Lovely spacious cottage with lots of natural light. Really well equipped with everything we needed. Super location just set back from main street. The enclosed garden was a great space for our dog to sniff about and play. Would highly recommend and definitely return. Thanks for helping make a great holiday in Warkworth.

We had a great week at Rookery Nook in Warkworth. Perfectly placed for access to all the village has to offer and a great base for all that Northumberland has to offer. Lots of character with all the modern conveniences that you need. My only little note to future dwellers would be take a spare set of towels as you only get one set for the week.Read more Other than that, it's spot on & we will most definitely be booking again! Rookery Nook was lovely, a bit tired looking, damp making ingress in the front bedroom, above the window. Some cobwebs which had been there awhile. Parking on the street by luck. But generally a lovely place, though not for someone with accessibility issues.

Some areas of the house (the bathrooms) weren't cleaned properly before we arrived and the shaving lights weren't working. The rear garden needs a little attention too. Apart from that it was a great property, well equipped and a great stay.

Perfect location and dog friendly! Well equipped and comfortable. Could maybe do with a runner or second mat at the back door as we were concerned about muddy paws and shoes on the carpet :)

The location was good and the appliances in the house were good and the house was clean but the settees in the sitting room were uncomfortable. I think new settees are needed. The steps up to the house were difficult for one of our party.( hes 72)

I have been very impressed with the overall booking service and communication with Original Cottages. Rookery Nook was a lovely cottage. Ideally located, comfortable and well equipped . It is just a shame that the only parking is on street but we did always manage to get a space. A lovely holiday and we loved Northumberland.

Lovely cottage with original features, it was clean and had everything you needed. The location is perfect in the centre and only a few minutes walk to a number of activities The mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing, it was very uncomfortable

We had a lovely week at Rookery Nook which combines old and new to great effect. Accessing the property was very easy and communication/information prior to arrival was very good. Warkworth is a lovely village in the most glorious county. Lots to do and see and Rookery Nook was a great base.
