We have a fantastic week in the school house. My young children and dog absolutely loved the amazing garden, and enjoyed the freedom to run around. The house was super clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Such a wonderful, cosy little cottage! We loved the open fireplace which was very atmospheric during the windy evenings. The master bed was huge and so comfortable- gorgeous soft pillows and duvet. The location itself is like nothing on earth. Pure, raw, unspoiled nature farther than the eye can see. Incredible for hiking and wildlife watching. A place for peace, quiet and restoration. We enjoyed being away from the hubbub of busy lives. We had lovely long walks and even saw wild goats. There are a lot of sheep and they are everywhere, so be prepared to keep dogs on a lead.

Perfect location for walking and climbing in northumberland. Due to the location it would be nice to have a welcome pack with a few essentials like milk and bread.

The cottage was amazing and very reasonable cost-wise. It was fully equipped with most kitchen equipment you would find at home and lovely clean bedding and fluffy towels. It was very warm and cosy too especially once you had the log/coal fire on. It was one of the most relaxing holidays I have been on in a long long time and my two greyhounds loveRead mored running around the secure garden. The location was fabulous and on the many rainy November days we could just sit by the fire and look at the hills while watching Netflix. Good Wifi connection which was pretty impressive for its isolated rural location too. We will be back, oh yes, we will be back! :-) Hide
