We had a lovely holiday, Sue and Dave ( the owners),were very friendly and helpful, the cottage was very clean, cosy and comfortable and in a beautiful spot, very quiet. There is a good Indian restaurant / takeaway, (Zakkis), in the town, and the Ocean chip shop does excellent fish and chips, but beware of the huge portions. There are also variousRead more pubs in Haltwhistle that we didn't try. The wonderful scenery and the local accent which is I consider one of the best in Britain, make this a destination I will visit again . Thoroughly recommended. Hide

Very welcoming owners. Helpful and friendly. Our granddaughter loved all the animals and helping feed the chickens and ducks. Hadrian's Wall easily accessible. We had a good, relaxing time.
