This stone cottage blends old and new and is a great destination for a couple’s getaway – plus one canine companion. You’ll all love exploring the 75 acres of splendid grounds on the estate, and Fido is bound to have a ball when you venture to nearby Llanbedrog and the fabulous beaches of the Llyn Peninsula.
High, sloping ceilings and exposed beams give this single-storey former milking parlour a strong sense of character. Its open-plan living space is generous and comfortable, flowing from a bright lounge area (with a sofa bed for a potential two additional guests) to a dining area and then the L-shaped kitchen. There are countryside views from the pretty double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room. Outside, a private patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ enjoys yet more delightful views and is a great space to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening meal, with your furry best friend by your feet. Guests are also welcome to explore the wider 75-acre Wern Fawr Manor Farm estate, which includes shared gardens, woodlands and fields, just perfect for walkies and perhaps a game of fetch.
This Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty has so much to offer, from water sports and wildlife spotting to delightful beaches and picturesque villages. From the cottage, you can stroll less than 2 miles along a footpath to charming Llanbedrog, where there are shops and places to eat, and a mile-long, sandy beach (keep your furry friend on a lead until beyond the beach huts during summer months). Venture further and you can explore the shops, pubs and restaurants of Abersoch (4.5 miles), or Pwllheli (5.5 miles) or try the surf at the quieter Hell’s Mouth Beach (6 miles) which is dog friendly all year round.
