Bring up to three furry companions on an extra-special family holiday to this spacious cottage in a peaceful rural setting near Llanbedrog. Tails will be wagging as you explore 75 acres of farm estate grounds or venture to the dog-friendly beaches of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.
Get close to nature in this detached home where there’s room for everyone, canine companions included. A great place for your doggies’ beds would be the stone-floored conservatory, though a spot snoozing by the multi-fuel burner in the adjacent lounge offers some competition. This is a comfortable room with leather Chesterfield sofas and a large dining table, ideal for long, sociable evenings swapping stories and planning the next day’s outing. Set up Fido’s food and water bowls in the generously sized kitchen, where you’ll find a breakfast table, a 7-burner hob and an American-style fridge/freezer. Also on this floor are two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, sharing a stunning wet-room-style shower room with WC. On the first floor, you’ll find two bedrooms, each with three single beds, which have the use of a bright family bathroom. Outside offers a private patio area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, from which there are fabulous views across the gardens and countryside, as well as access to the fields and woodlands of the estate.
Walk straight from the cottage along a footpath to Llanbedrog – you’ll be at the sandy, mile-long beach in less than 2 miles (in summer remember to keep your pups on a lead until you’re past the colourful beach huts). Explore the shops and eateries in the village, too, or head over to busier Abersoch, 4.5 miles, where there’s another great beach, much-loved by water sports enthusiasts, and – whether you fancy fish and chips or cocktails – a further choice of places to eat and drink.
