Situated in the heart of St Ives with the beach mere metres away, four guests and one four-pawed pal are welcome to get stuck into life by the sea throughout this break. Plan a trip as two couples or a small family with no need to enlist the help of your local kennels, ensuring you pack up plenty of beach essentials and puppy home comforts for your furry friend.

Benefiting from an elevated position with distant views of the sea, this two-storey property is a reverse-level space set across the first and second storeys. Put your best paw forward and step inside, wandering on up to find a kitchen/diner, utility room, bathroom and two bedrooms on the lower level. Settle in for a cosy night with Fido gently snoozing away in the corner on the second floor. With a neutral colour scheme and vaulted ceiling, this contemporary-style lounge offers a wonderful spot for resting dog-tired bodies after big days of walkies and games of fetch. There’s no designated outdoor space but the beach is just a stone’s throw away.

Set tails wagging with daily strolls around the town, passing by independent galleries, artists'' studios and boutiques as you walk the dog. Lambeth Walk Beach is a dog-friendly section of the coast that’s less than 100 metres away, so feel free to step out and let your pup run free at any time of year. A little further away, wander up to The Island to explore the similarly dog-friendly Bamaluz Beach or admire the view from St Ives Head (both 0.5 miles). Further breathtaking views can be found at Porthzennor Cove (6 miles) or Gurnard’s Head (7 miles).

We loved our stay here - so close to the harbour and walking distance to all the beaches in st Ives. Pretty much next door to one of the best ice cream shops was an added bonus. Views from the attic lounge where beautiful. lots of stairs internally so perhaps not suitable for people with mobility difficulties but perfect for us.

This is a very well located property and we loved it. Parking can be an issue though even out of season.

Fabulous property. Extremely clean and well-equipped. Loved having tiled hallway downstairs for sandy shoes and cleaning the dog up. Great bath and separate shower and loved the location a minutes walk from the harbour.

I love this property very much, have now stayed twice. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen, a washing machine and tumble drier, a bath and a shower, I love the top floor lounge and all the pictures and ornaments. Fantastic. I was very sad to leave. Please don't change a thing

Excellent location, particularly if you do not have a car. Very centrally located to shops, public transport, beaches and restaurants. It can be quite noisy from people passing in the street, through the walls from neighbouring properties and this year (2025) from building works in the area.

Sunnyside is a beautiful comfortable home. The decor is so fitting for st Ives. The views over the bay are amazing and a great location only a couple of minutes walk from Fore Street. Highly recommended and will be returning! Thank you!
