This beachside apartment enjoys a prime position in the Cornish town of St Ives. Sleeping four guests and one four-pawed hound, the coastal bolthole makes a fabulous couples’ retreat or base for a small family. You’ll be right in the heart of St Ives’ old fishing quarter, surrounded by a fine array of independent eateries, as well as cute boutiques and galleries. The property is also set next to the slipway to Porthmeor Beach.

The seaside hideaway is decorated in a contemporary style, with crisp, clean walls and a collection of accessories and artwork in tones that reflect the coastal landscape. The main living space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with ample space for you and the pup to spread out and relax after a day at the beach. Cook up a storm in the sleek kitchen area to the rear of the room and come together at the wooden dining table for delicious, home-cooked meals. After dinner, perch in the window seat to enjoy the sea views, or sink into the sumptuous sofa bed to watch TV. The property has a tranquil twin bedroom with sea views and a stylish bathroom. There is no outside space. However, with a choice of paw-friendly beaches and several footpaths on your doorstep, you’ll have many options when it comes to morning walkies. There is a private parking space for one car in the shared garage.

St Ives is known for its fabulous sandy beaches. Porthmeor Beach, directly outside the property, has a seasonal restriction for four-pawed visitors, although you can still enjoy early morning walks on the sand or a sunset stroll throughout the summer. Alternatively, head along to Bamaluz Beach, just 300 metres away, where Rover can play on the sand all year round. From the cottage, you can take a stroll around the headland known as ‘The Island’, where the views and wildlife-watching opportunities are fantastic, or join the South West Coast Path, which passes right outside the apartment.

Perfect location for two people and small dog. We really enjoyed, relaxed and would love to return there. Parking space is tight but we were grateful nonetheless as St. Ives is busy and car parks fill-up quickly.

Beautiful situation with close seaviews from both rooms. Also close to restaurants, bars and cafes. For a one bed it's very spacious.

Our second visit to 49 St N.C. and it was even better than our first visit last year. The welcome pack of coffee, tea, scrummy biscuits and sugar were a lovely surprise and very much welcomed after a long car journey. The box of cleaning and laundry items were a very thoughtful touch too especially as we had forgotten to bring laundry and washing uRead morep liquid ourselves! Was so lovely to sit on the window seats and look at the sun, sea and sand. Having the beach on our doorstep really is the highlight of our holiday. By day 3 we had booked for next year and we are also looking at another holiday in April to break up the year!! Well done everyone who helped to make this lovely property the perfect holiday home. Flat is in an amazing location, unfortunately that is the only real plus of this property. In urgent need of an upgrade on all doors, locks, shower and living room seating. Very dated. Was expecting a lot more for the price I paid.

It took many days of a 1 week holiday to get a very mouldy shower curtain changed. Old stain on pillow protectors and many hairs on mattress protctector. I suspect this is up to cleaning team. Less plates than previous year. Otherwise a lovely apartment in an excellent location.

We had everything we needed for our stay, great location so handy for the beaches and shops. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had all the equipment you could want. A very enjoyable stay and we wouldn't hesitate in booking this apartment again.

This is a nice apartment in a very good location. We experienced a few niggles with the key safes (not labelled), the shower, the TV and the oven. The main front door is tatty and does not accurately reflect the property inside.

Lovely location and parking space although tight an extra bonus. Although right next to a just pay carpark at the back. The decor was comfortable and nice art work. it was so nice to have the beach right on the door step with the dog. Certainly I would go back.

Beautiful cosy and welcoming little flat. Absolutely perfect for my husband and I together with our little dog. Right on the doorstep of an amazing beach with a second beach only minutes away. St Ives harbour and all it has to offer is a 5 minute walk. A lovely home from home property in a perfect location. Can't wait till our next visit.
