Cottage was beautiful, cooker bedding and towels were immaculate and the whole cottage was very clean apart from the mugs / pans and fridge which wasnt a big deal but I dont think these were checked as the mugs that were hanging up still had a sludge of coffee at the bottom of them and the saucepans had to be cleaned before using them. Really nicRead moree touch leaving biscuits coffee and tea - thank you. We have booked again as the minor things was in no reflection of the beautiful property and the owners Hide

This is a lovely little cottage and very close to the shops & restaurants. There are steps up to the front door but once inside its really perfect. Warm and cozy. Very handy for car parks too although it does have its own parking but its away from the house so we did not use it. But if you were here for a week then it would be a big bonus. Slipway cottage is located within short walking distance to all the beaches of St Ives. Access to the cottage is up a flight of stone steps. The lounge is very homely and comfortable, with a small, we'll equipped kitchen to one side.(we did eat out quite a lot though, lots of great places to eat close by) Upstairs, we slept well in the comfortabRead morele bed, we had some noise at the weekend from the Sloop though. We would definitely book to stay here again. Hide

We were not able to open the windows as there was a smell coming from the many bins outside the property where you had to go to gain access. This made it quite uncomfortable to sleep with the warm weather . The location was perfect for all amenities but was spoilt by the mess and smell from the chip shop and bins..

We have stayed in many cottages over the past 20 years and I can honestly say we really enjoyed our stay at slipway cottage. The location is fab and it was ideal as we had our little dog, who loved going across the road to the harbour beach. The bed's were comfortable and cosy. Everything well equipped for our stay. We absolutely loved it here! Such a great location so close to the harbour, didnt need our car all week. The cottage itself is lovely and cosy, and very spacious. The only downfall for us is that the garage which was 20 mins away was too small for our car (we have a pickup truck) so we had to park at Trenwith Long Stay, but that was only 26 so it dRead moreidnt bother us all that much its an abnormally large car!
