Property code: OC-VGN28

Located in the heart of St Ives, this lovely cottage offers families or groups of friends the perfect combination of peaceful location and town centre convenience. With your canine companion welcome to join you, your entire pack can enjoy the homely atmosphere and spectacular sea views this charming home has to offer.

Enter the open-plan lounge/diner to be greeted by a flood of natural light. Wooden floors and exposed beams overhead create a rustic yet chic look, where comfortable sofas invite you to sink in and relax after a day of discovery. The refurbished kitchen, finished in a calming seaside blue, is equipped with all the necessary essentials for your culinary creations. On the first floor, you''ll be met with an inviting double bedroom that boasts an en-suite shower room and breathtaking sea views. The second bedroom features a fun-filled bunk bed and equally stunning coastal vistas. The tiled family bathroom offers a spacious double shower. On the second floor, there’s a magnificent double bedroom bathed in natural light, with views towards the ocean on both sides. Though there is no garden at this property, there are beaches and green open spaces nearby.

Thanks to its breathtaking natural light and rejuvenating sea air, St Ives has been a popular hoiday destination for many years. Once a traditional fishing village, the town still maintains a small active fishing fleet that operates from the charming harbour. Be sure to indulge in some delectable seafood at one of the town''s cafes, pubs or restaurants, or grab some of the renowned fish and chips, sparing a nibble for your furry friend too. There are many wonderful beaches within walking distance of home. In July and August, 10 am to 6 pm, dogs are restricted from the town''s beaches, so for year-round seaside fun with your hound, head to the 2-mile stretch of golden sands that run from Gwithian to Hayle.

A great cottage in a perfect location in St Ives. It was comfortable, clean , warm and well appointed and only a two minute walk to the main street. We've stayed in similar properties in St Ives, and one property only a few doors up and this one was one of the best. We'd have no hesitation in staying here again.

We enjoyed a wonderful week staying in St.Ives at 28 Virgin Street. A lovely comfortable house, tucked away 2 minutes from Fore-street and the harbour! The top floor bedroom is beautiful with stunning views on two sides across St.Ives to Porthminster and the harbour. Would be very happy to stay here again!

Nice cottage. Good location. Lovely sea view of both the harbour and Porthmeor from the roof top bedroom. Good WiFi,. En-suite small, maybe could do with updating. Family bathroom nice. Kitchen nice and well equipped. Be mindful that no direct access for unloading/loading car and there is a very steep hill and steps to get to Barnoon carpark.

Great location tucked away between Porthmeor and Harbour beaches. Only foot traffic going past so nice and quiet. Clean with a well stocked kitchen. You must be prepared to hump your luggage up and down steps. If you choose to use the reserved car space , it is not too far away, but once again quite a climb up steps.

Ideal location, excellent views from upper floors. Lovely cottage, kitchen well equipped. It is worth noting for less able people that there are steps up to the front door and the steps up to the 2nd floor bedroom are very steep.
