Enjoy fabulous views out to sea overlooking the picturesque harbour alongside friends, family and your canine companion at this exceptional end-of-terrace property. Spend your days frolicking with Fido on wonderful beaches, sniffing out adventure along the South West Coast Path and having a ball in brilliant Porthleven.
Finished to a very high standard throughout, this contemporary home is bright, breezy and welcoming. On the ground floor, there is a modern, well-equipped open-plan kitchen that leads through to the dining area with plenty of space for a family game or a shared meal. The elegant master bedroom boasts a king-size sleigh bed, beautiful soft furnishings and a large bay window looking out onto the harbour. Also on this floor is a lovely bathroom with a luxurious deep roll-top bath for soaking tired legs at the end of the day. French doors lead from the kitchen to the side patio, where the outside shower is perfect for washing down sandy children, wetsuits and dogs. On the first floor, the living room is to the front of the property with a large bay window to make the most of the stunning scenery beyond. Tastefully decorated with attractive soft furnishings and artwork, there are comfy sofas to recline on and a window seat with far-reaching ocean views. The rest of the sleeping accommodation and a stylish shower room are also on this first floor, with one twin room and a delightful bunk bedroom that children will adore. To the front of the property is an elevated terrace with a table and chairs where you can relax and enjoy a sundowner whilst Rover safely explores the enclosed boundaries.
You don’t have to travel for a day at the beach with the village’s golden sands less than 200 metres from your door. At low tide, Porthleven Beach extends for 3 miles to Gunwalloe. There is a seasonal dog restriction in July and August from 10am to 6pm on the section of Porthleven Beach directly in front of the village. Either wait until the tide has dropped and head east along the beach with the hound or stroll the coast path to Looe Bar Beach, just over a mile away, for year-round unrestricted doggie access. Home to a small fishing fleet, Porthleven has some fantastic seafood restaurants to sample, as well as numerous local pubs and charming cafes where Rover will often find a warm welcome and a biscuit or a bowl of water waiting upon arrival.
