A cosy cottage located in the popular village of North Creake, nestled in the Burn Valley, is ideal for a family and up to two pups for a restful holiday, an ideal base to explore the Norfolk coast and countryside. The village itself is a quintessential Norfolk village with a popular pub and easy access to numerous scenic walking routes. Creake Abbey (2 miles) hosts market stalls to buy local produce and welcomes your pup on a lead.

This charming two-storey cottage dates to 1870 and has the perfect balance of original character - exposed beams and bricks, wooden floors downstairs - and contemporary comfort with colourful decor. A coastal theme ensures a welcoming feel to the cottage. Enter the lounge area from the hall, an invitation to curl up on one of the comfortable sofas. Four paws will no doubt nab the space close to a lit wood burner on chilly evenings. The kitchen is spacious and offers everything required to prepare family dishes and treats for the hounds. A highlight of the cottage is the bright oak-beamed sunroom, which also serves as a dining space, overlooking the pretty garden, it’s a very tranquil spot. There is a games room for children, perfect for rainy days and a little competitive family fun. The ground floor also has a contemporary bathroom. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, all beautifully decorated, and a shower room. French doors open from the sunroom onto a large patio area with garden furniture. There is a fully enclosed lawned garden.

Let your pups lead the way to a great day out at Holme Beach (15 miles), where they can romp around all year-round. The pristine sandy beach at Holkham (6.5 miles) is one of the region''s hidden gems, with a vast expanse of golden sand backed by a majestic shallow lagoon. Alternatively, visit the Royal Park at Sandringham, where your dog can sniff out adventures in the 243 acres of grounds.

A comfy cottage in a great location with easy parking. It had everything that we needed and it suited us with two young dogs and a toddler. A welcome basket of local items was a nice surprise.

No matches/lighter available, as a consequence we were not able to use the fireplace. I was expecting the travel cot to be ready to use, we arrived late and i had to look inside all cupboards to find the travel cot, and open it while my baby woke up. A very small detail but worth giving the feedback!

Bridge Cottage in North Creake was perfect for a short break with 2 dogs. Very well equipped and comfortable including the beds! Good location for exploring nearby Norfolk and useful to have a friendly pub, the Jolly Farmer, within a 200 meter walk.
