"Possibly the best rented accommodation we have ever experienced with the bonus of helpful and kindly owners". - Michael Wilson
For a peaceful, dog-friendly stay right out in the sticks, look no further than this entirely undisturbed Suffolk holiday home. Surrounded by wide open spaces and vibrant meadows, a stay here offers four human guests and two dogs the chance to truly unwind in quiet and calm surroundings. The property is only accessed via a private track from the owner’s farmhouse, making it a safe and secure place for your pet to roam without the danger of busy roads. There is, however, plenty of roaming wildlife surrounding the accommodation, so be sure to keep an eye on your doggo around deer, hares and pheasants.
Your entire pack will find somewhere comfortable to unwind in the generous open-plan living area, whether it’s curled up in a cosy armchair or laying on their favourite blanket beneath a sunny window. The property is entirely laid out on one floor, so you can leave your sleeping dogs to lie right here as you head to bed. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin, can be found along the hallway, along with a wet room and additional shower room in the utility-come-laundry space. In sunny weather, throw open French doors and allow Rover to roam around the surrounding wide-open space, setting off from here to embark on several exciting walkies routes.
This rural cottage is situated in the heart of Suffolk, 3 miles from the vibrant market town of Eye. This town is a lovely place to tour with man’s best friend at your side, complete with historic castle ruins to explore and plenty of pup-friendly pubs for a quick refreshment. Further afield, you’ll find Framlingham (12 miles), Stowmarket (14 miles) and Diss (9 miles), along with the mighty Suffolk Coast AONB (22 miles) that’s filled with coastal adventures to discover with your canine companion.
