  • Pretty barn conversion with original features
  • Private garden space and sunny patio

Property code: OC-L30057

A peaceful, romantic cottage perfect for a couple and their furry friends located in a quiet, rural spot, this barn conversion is in a tiny hamlet among stunning Cornish countryside just a few miles from the coast. It’s cosy and comfortable inside with a gravelled courtyard and a private lawned garden outside for you all to enjoy.

The old barn has heaps of character with gorgeous original beams, wooden doors, and stone flooring. There’s plenty of space for two in the large open-plan kitchen/living room with a breakfast bar and a big corner sofa to chill out on in front of the wood burner and Smart TV. It has a sumptuous bed in the double bedroom and a lovely shower room too. Relax and enjoy the peace and quiet outside in the different areas of the garden, safe in the knowledge that your canine companions can roam free in the fully enclosed section.

The property is perfectly placed for exploring the coast and countryside on foot with lots of stunning walks to choose from nearby, in Kilminorth Woods, Deerpark Wood and along the South West Coast Path, including a pretty, circular walk from Pelynt along the West Looe River. This area is also a great place to go kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing if you’re into water sports. The cottage is less than 6 miles from the coastal town of Looe and the old fishing village of Polperro, where you’ll find several pubs that welcome furry family members. The ancient village of Pelynt, with two well-stocked village stores, is just 2 miles away where there’s a traditional village pub and a Grade I-listed 14th-century church – both worth visiting.

We had booked Trefanny's Inn for 5 nights for my Wife's 60th birthday. We were not disappointed in any way. A lovely little cottage and the area was lovely. A great base to explore Cornwall. Our 2 dogs came home very tired with all the walking we did. We would definitely consider booking again and would absolurely recommend the cottage to friends aRead morend family. Hide

Myself and my partner came to stay here to celebrate our first year together. We loved having the log burner. We both had a lovely time within the home and also getting around Cornwall. We cooked some beautiful meals within the home. This was our perfect stay definitely a 10 out of 10 for us. We hope to go back at some point

We had another lovely time here, think this is our 4th visit! Always something new to see and do but we love visiting the old favourites too like Lansallos beach and Seaton coastal walks. The cottagw was lovely as ever and clean, tidy and welcoming. We loved the Easter chocolates left for us too - thank you! :)

Nice, clean cottage in a remote location but within driving distance to hotspots. Lanes are narrow, but this is rural Cornwall, if you need supplies there's nothing within walking distance.

Smaller than expected. Garden at the back (only accessible from the front door) is not secure for dogs. Check out time of 9am is a pain given all the chores you have to do. However, the cottage is very peaceful and in a good location.

On arriving at the cottage we were surprised how teeny weeny it is ! It certainly is not big enough for three dogs. One medium sized or two toy sized dogs. Also the sofa in the photograph is incorrect, the sofa in the cottage is a grey corded material not what is in the photograph.
