This charming property, situated in the beautiful village of Weybourne, is perfect for you and your family – including the loyal hound! Sleeping four across two bedrooms, this cottage is ideal for groups looking to explore the stunning North Norfolk coast without leaving anyone behind. Head to Weybourne Beach (1 mile), which is dog-friendly all year round, and go for a pebbly walk or head up to the cliffs for lush green views inland or views of the crashing waves below.

This cottage is brimming with character, with exposed beams, pine latched doors and a Norfolk winder staircase. A stunning wood burner housed by an exposed brick fireplace features in the cosy lounge, making it the perfect spot for your pup to curl up next to while you get comfy on the sofa. Cook up a storm in the bright and airy kitchen and eat in the pretty dining room, surrounded by exposed flint work and a quaint coastal theme. A spa-like shower room completes the ground floor. Head upstairs to the king-size and twin bedrooms, both with exposed beams and peaceful, neutral decor. In the morning, grab your first coffee of the day and let the dog out into the beautiful walled garden to stretch their legs; enjoy your breakfast at the bistro table among the many mature plants.

Make sure you go for walkies around Sheringham Park (3.5 miles), and to the beach if you’re visiting between October-April. Hop aboard the North Norfolk Railway (3 miles) where dogs get their own ticket and travel between Sheringham and the Georgian market town of Holt (4 miles). Go crabbing off Cromer Pier (7.5 miles) and grab a takeaway fish and chips from one of the many restaurants in town, or head into historic Norwich (31.5 miles) for sights, shops and eateries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is absolutely divine with a very secure garden for Dogs. The back door entrance onto a non-carpeted floor and the large shower also are an absolute bonus for a dog. The decoration and atmosphere in the cottage is 2nd to none. The style is very quaint and yet modern There are a lot of comments about Read morethe staircase and it is quite steep and petite, and the lack of lie upstairs is a bit of a problem for nighttime visits however I stayed with my 84 year-old mother and we managed to overcome this as a problem which Im extremely pleased about. All in all the cottage was a divine place to stay, the local pubs provide excellent food and the location is perfect being central to the north Norfolk Coast This area is an absolute gem of the British Isles Hide

Our stay at Bourne Cottage was okay but please be aware of the Norfolk staircase and the fact that the bathroom and toilet are downstairs

Very happy - beautifully located and within easy walking distance of two pubs ! Kitchen well furnished and house in general well maintained.Stairs to bedrooms are quite steep so be aware of that before having too much to drink at dinner !

Very comfortable, well furnished and well equipped cottage in a quiet and peaceful location. Only ten minutes walk to the beach and cliffs , less to the pub and cafe, also an easy walk to the railway station (North Norfolk Railway) and an easy drive to everywhere else. Those with restricted mobility may find the traditional winder stairs a challengRead moree. Hide

Lovely cottage, just wish Id seen a picture of the stairs first as we do not know what a Norfolk winder staircase is, but saying that it certainly didnt spoil our stay just worried us using them
