Property code: OC-1909

This lovely property is situated on the cliffs of Cromer and is ideal for a family or group of friends and a faithful pup looking for a unique setting for a relaxing and active holiday by the sea. Cromer beach is just 150 yards away and is a great family beach, however there are restrictions for your dog during the summer months.

Originally a coastguard lookout, this charming single-storey house built in 1926 is now a light and airy modern home with bright splashes of colour and a coastal theme that harmonises with the magnificent coastal views. The house is flooded with natural light and features an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax on the comfortable seating and watch TV or make your way to the dining table to play games and eat together. The conservatory is an ideal place to enjoy the view with a cup of tea and spend some quiet time with four paws napping at your feet. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances to make meal preparation a breeze. When you want to rest, there are three bedrooms: a bunk room, ideal for two children, a twin room and a king-size room. The king-size room is accessed via two steps and has its own shower room. There is also a family bathroom. The enclosed garden offers plenty of space to enjoy the views or eat an al fresco BBQ on summer evenings watching the sunset. The garden is fenced, but please note that there is a gate at the front leading to an enclosed strip of old coastal path with direct access to the cliffs.

Nearby West Runton Beach (2.5 miles) is a great place to look for fossils and to play in the rock pools. There are some restricted areas for your hound during the summer months. Alternatively, let your dog sniff out adventures on the footpaths at Felbrigg Hall (3 miles), one of the most elegant country houses in East Anglia, or hop on the North Norfolk Steam Railway (4 miles) to enjoy the stunning Norfolk scenery from your carriage.

Comfortable accommodation which, in the main, was well equipped. Very quiet at night. Ten/fifteen - minute walk to Cromer town centre, beach and pier. Very convenient for a lovely town and area. Plenty of car parking space. Outdoor area good, if required, with ample equipment. .

What a fab location - just minutes from the centre of Cromer - yet was tucked away enough to have that sense of isolation that you need in a holiday. The putting green next door was a highlight plus the crazy golf a little further along. Everything, including a supermarket, was within easy walking distance. Highly recommended!

Premises are clean and functional but the location is dramatic and walking into Cromer a breeze.

The Lookout is a very cool holiday location near to the city Cromer (5min walk) and to a phantastic beach area (5min walk). Environment and garden are beautiful. Next to the cottage is a huge parking area and popular for motorbikes. In the night is everything very quiet and hear the ocean - at daytime you hear the bikes and cars.

Lovely cottage with everything you need for a weeks holiday. We spent our afternoons in the conservatory enjoying views of the sea & the big skys. Great garden & parking. Ideal location close for all amenities. Nice that cottage has been in the same family for decades.

You cannot beat this location. It is by far what dreams are made of. The bed in the King room was exceptional. We lived in the conservatory for most of our holiday. We loved it, and have some beautiful memories from our stay.
