A lovely cottage with plenty of room for 6 of us. Equipment provided was extensive plus a variety of games and books were available. It was fantastic to get parking, such a plus. Everything was clean and tidy.

Very spacious and well equipped. Ideal for larger groups as 2 showers and 3 toilets meant no queuing required! Good for exploring Scarborough as beach and town centre within walking distance though on the quieter side of town so need a car if looking to go out to a pub or for a meal in the evening. Parking for a SUV in the courtyard/garage is a bitRead more tight but free around the green in Oriel Crescent otherwise (Did not see any signs to the contrary and I managed to not get a ticket for the couple of days I was parked there!). The cottage was of good size and cleaned to a good standard. The freezer was in desperate need of defrosting and we had to chip away a lot of ice to use it. We did make a note of this in the maintenance book. However, the towels that were put out for our use on the bed fell short of expectation. I noted brown marks on them and was not entirely Read moresure what to think this may have been. It could quite simply been a burn make but, I was not sure and located other towels in the house to use. I left a note for house keeping about this also. However the house was well appointed and we did enjoy our stay and would book again if in this location. Hide

The cottage was comfortably furnished with thoughtful touches such as a selection of books, games and local leaflets and information about local parking. Good location with parking for 2 cars. Recycling facilities made being eco friendly feasible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Overall the quality of the cottage was of a good standard, but issues recorded in the maintenance book prior to our arrival were still unresolved (broken toilet beside kitchen and damaged shower in upstairs bathroom). Also the freezer was dirty and needed defrosting. We could not see how 3 cars could be parked at the property. 1 fits in the garageRead more, 1 in the courtyard, but to park 1 outside a residence permit is required but not supplied. This did not affect us but could be a problem for larger groups. Hide
