Village life is centred around Cadgwith’s waterfront, where one of the last remaining traditional beach fishing fleets in Cornwall still operates. Dogs are welcome on Cadgwith Cove East beach year round, with no seasonal restrictions. In July and August, dogs are banned from on Cadgwith Cove South beach between the hours of 10am and 6pm. For walkies to get tails wagging, the South West Coast Path runs right through the village, giving access to the Lizard Peninsula and some of Cornwall’s wonderful coastal vistas including Lizard Point, England''s most southerly location. In addition to its picturesque cove, Cadgwith also boasts a cosy pub, handy village shop and fishmonger where you can buy the catch of the day brought in by the local fishermen.
