An unrivalled place to stay for any animal-loving couple, this dog-friendly Suffolk cottage invites you to stay with a four-pawed pal and boasts resident emus and pigs on the estate! Hosting two guests and one dog, the property is a wonderful choice for your pack of three to spend some quality time together amongst the fantastic Suffolk countryside. Discover an endless array of walks on your doorstep, each one a vibrant and scenic route for mixing up your daily walkies. Heading back home, the cottage benefits from fantastic spaces to relax both inside and out, perfect for putting feet (and paws!) up.
Step inside and discover an ever-inviting lounge/kitchen/diner that’s been furnished with plenty of cushy seating and a wood burner to keep things cosy. Curl up in the evening and let your furry friend snuggle up beside you, switching on the TV or simply chatting by the warmth of the fire. Find a lovely bathroom on the ground floor or step upstairs to discover a comfortable king-size bedroom with lovely country views. Make the most of sunny days when stepping outside, heading to the unique countryside pod set in the emu’s field. Whilst you’ll need to keep your energetic doggo on a lead whilst wandering through the field, we’re sure they’ll love admiring the surroundings from the pod as you enjoy morning coffee or a sundowner.
Close by, the National Trust-maintained Ickworth (3 miles) presents a broad and beautiful estate which can be explored with your pet. Stop off at the Porter’s Lodge to treat your pup to a tasty doggy cupcake or ice cream! Let your dog lead the way to Chedburgh (2.5 miles) and embark on a lovely countryside walk around the outskirts of the village, stopping off in a country pub (2.5 miles) for a pint and a fresh bowl of water afterwards.
