Entering this traditional cottage, the inviting lounge/diner makes a lovely space for everyone to get together to relax, and features exposed ceiling beams, an open fire, a cheery dining table, TV, DVD player and iPod dock. The ground floor also offers a galley-style kitchen. Upstairs, there’s a stylish bathroom, and you will have a choice of two tastefully decorated bedrooms: a cheerful double room and a cosy twin which has a shower in the room. Outside, there are two shared patios, one to the front of the cottage, and one overlooking the brook as the stream trickles over the waterfall, both providing delightful spots for you and your pets to unwind on a lazy afternoon.
The cottage is set on the edge of the idyllic village of Thwaite in the beautiful Swaledale part of the Yorkshire Dales. Both the Pennine Way and the Coast-to-Coast walks pass nearby, giving you and your canine pals miles of breathtaking countryside to discover. The pretty market town of Hawes (7 miles) is known for its narrow winding lanes and has a choice of dog-friendly cafes and pubs. Exploring the northern reaches of the Dales, you can head to the remains of Lammerside Castle, Aysgarth Falls and Calver Hill, all within 12 miles.
