Chic, stylish and sophisticated, this waterside property welcomes families as well as one not-too-large furry friend. Sitting above the harbour in the heart of Abersoch, it has gorgeous views from a terrace that’s perfect for Fido to chase his tail while you dine alfresco.

This spacious property offers luxurious living with a contemporary feel, set over three storeys. On the ground floor, the lounge/kitchen/dining area is highly impressive, its crisp white walls and wooden floors counterpointed by tropical patterns. Special features include a Smart TV with BT Sport, an American-style fridge/freezer, a Nespresso coffee machine and even a NutriBullet for you to create healthy smoothies. Also on this floor is a handy WC. There are two bedrooms on the first floor – a king-size with a TV and sea views, and a bunk-bed room with an optional double sofa bed. These rooms share a fabulous family bathroom. Heading upstairs to the second floor, you will find the king-size bedroom with triple skylights and a sumptuous en-suite shower room. In terms of outside space, French doors from the lounge area lead out onto the decked terrace, a fabulous place in which to dine alfresco or simply enjoy the stunning harbour views.

Borrow the two stand-up paddleboards that come with the house and head down to Abersoch’s popular main beach, a haven for lovers of water sports which is nicely sheltered against a beautiful backdrop of the Snowdonia mountains. Dog friendly from October to March, the beach has a specific section where woofsters can roam free during the summer. The coast path is another great place to enjoy the fresh air and great views, while for a change, head to the lovely seaside village of Llanbedrog, 3 miles away, where you can enjoy a mile-long walk along the sandy beach adorned with colourful beach huts.

This well equipped and comfortable home is in a fabulous location. It provides secure parking. It is so well placed in the village we rarely use the car during our holidays. We have now visited four times as it is like home from home for us.

It was a lovely property in a great location and would love to stay again (we even mulled over the one next door on sale it was that nice), the only real negative was the front door handle lock fell apart on arrival and it took 5 days to get it fixed despite numerous requests from ourselves. The only other advice I could offer is the check in checkRead more out time is too late/ too early...9am out and 5pm in means you're really only getting 6 days. Having rented out holiday lets before the standard was always 10am and 3pm. All said though a great week for our family and we hope to return. Hide
