Tailwaggers and their humans will feel right at home in this characterful, dog-friendly property, quietly located in the village of Lynton. Canine plus points include a nearby beach where they can play all year round, glorious walkies on the doorstep and a cosy living room where they can enjoy a snooze in front of the fire. Sleeping four guests and two top dogs, the stylishly furnished holiday home is ideal for families or friends who want to explore the beautiful North Devon coast and Exmoor National Park. Both Lynton and the twin village of Lynmouth offer excellent independent shops, along with dog-friendly pubs and cafes.

Three steep steps lead to the entrance, opening to a spacious living room with comfortable sofas and a coal-effect electric fire, set in a charming period fireplace. The large kitchen/diner will delight keen cooks, and a splendid oil Rayburn cooker is available for use by arrangement. On the first floor are a king-size bedroom with French doors opening onto a small balcony, and a pretty twin. The second floor houses a family bathroom. Outside, a pretty, enclosed patio with garden furniture is surrounded by shrubs and flowers.

Give your pups a great start to their holiday with an exhilarating walk over 240m high Hollerday Hill, just behind Lynton. While they explore intriguing new smells, you can drink in wonderful views of the spectacular coastline. Visit picture-postcard Lyn and Exmoor Museum, for a glimpse of local life over the last 200 years. Four-legged friends are welcome on the famous, water-powered Victorian railway which connects Lynton to Lynmouth, 152m below. Once there, set tails wagging with a race across the dog-friendly beach, then drop into the Exmoor National Park Centre to plan more glorious walks through this magnificent landscape.
