Take one lucky pup to this unique single-storey cottage located in the tranquil village of Corton, perfect for a couple seeking a romantic retreat or a family looking for a restful escape. Located 3 miles north of Lowestoft, Corton is a peaceful setting with a long sand-and-shingle beach that’s quieter than many beaches in the area but has restrictions for your pup from 1 May - 30 September, A nearby alternative is Gunton Denes Beach (1.5 miles) which welcomes four paws all year.

This charming property is a real home-from-home, filled with character and beautifully styled throughout with a light, fresh interior design. As you enter, there’s a cosy and welcoming lounge with a choice of relaxing seating where you can unwind with your hound resting contentedly at your feet. A TV provides entertainment, and a wood burner warms up any chilly evenings, making this a great year-round property. Across the hall is a lovely contemporary kitchen with all the appliances needed for preparing meals to enjoy together at the dining table. There is also a door from the kitchen opening to the back garden. When you want to rest, a king-size and a twin bedroom are available and both have TVs. A bathroom with a shower over the bath, a walk-in shower and WC complete the offer of this lovely lodge. Step outside and enjoy the enclosed garden and patio area with garden seating - an ideal spot for al fresco dining.

The Suffolk coast is filled with wonderful places to explore, including the seaside resort of Southwold (15.5 miles) with its iconic lighthouse, colourful beach huts and traditional pier. The beach at Southwold has restrictions in the summer, so take your sea dog on the rowboat ferry to Walberswick and enjoy the beach there. For a lovely coastal walk, head to Kessingland (9 miles) and walk to Pakefield. Alternatively, head inland to Bungay (19 miles), a quintessential Suffolk market town and let your pup lead the way on the 5.5-mile ''Bigod Way'' walk around Bungay, Earsham and the Bath Hills.

Ideal location for accessing Norfolk and Suffolk, close to the main A-roads. Cottage was warm and cosy, and a lovely place to stay for a week.

This lodge was stunning, the renovations done to a high standard, the local area was great, beach not far away and woodland walk. We can recommend The white Horse pub as very dog friendly and lovely food, Sunday lunch was lush. Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft not far away. Do be mindful of the door height in the lodge as at 6ft 4 there was some headbaRead morenging and not of the metal kind lol!! We would recommend this lodge it was beautiful. Hide

South Lodge was nicely furnished, comfortable and well equiped, with a pretty garden and garden room. We enjoyed staying there but the Lodge is situated on a busy road junction and noisy traffic is constant for almost 24hrs a day! Windows cannot be left open at night for fresh air and siting in the lovely garden is spoiled by the noise. Also, theRead more access point is close to the junction and dangerous. We were almost rammed several times. This feature of the property is not mentioned in the advertising material. The property information literature instructs visitors to leave by 9am so, to avoid an early morning rush, we decided to leave the day before. Whilst leaving, we received a text from you advising that we should leave by 10am !!!!!! Hide

An old shooting lodge that was modernised to a high standard. We loved staying there. The garden has a beautiful summerhouse with all mod cons. A very pretty garden The coast is near and shop and pub just along road. There is a lovely little outside cafe in the woods which produced good standard reasonably priced food

I absolutely loved this cottage. I would move in tomorrow and not change a thing. So full of character and the garden was just delightful - we were lucky enough to have good weather to be able to enjoy it.
