This stylish property, built in 1904, commands a fabulous position in Overstrand, a quiet village on the Norfolk North Coast and is perfect for families or a group of friends. A wide sandy beach, great for games or a swim is 0.5 miles away, however there are restrictions on access for your pup during the summer months. For a paw friendly beach head 4.5 miles to Trimmingham Beach.

A beautifully appointed contemporary house set over three floors with light tones brightened by splashes of colour in the carefully selected furnishings. Enter through the flagstone hall to the open-plan kitchen/diner and the kitchen has all you need to prepare family favourites and a social space to eat together around the table - underfloor heating keeps you and four paws toasty in the cooler months. The cheerful living area has ample sofas to sink into, an electric fire, a TV and two armchairs arranged in front of a window to make the most of the views – binoculars supplied! On the first floor you’ll find three bedrooms – one double, one twin and one single – and a sparkling family bathroom and a shower room on the first floor. Head up to the second floor where there another two bedrooms - a double and a twin. A patio door from the kitchen opens out to the fully enclosed back garden, with awe-inspiring sea views – and storage for your bikes. Light up the BBQ or grab a seat on the patio while you watch the sunset.

Walk along the beach to Cromer, just under 3 miles away, with its traditional pier, that your sea dog will love to explore, returning along the cliff path at high tide past the lighthouse. Let your pup lead the way to sniff out adventures along these many inland cycle routes and coastal walks. Or visit two historic National Trust properties which are sure to get tails wagging – Felbrigg Hall (4.5 miles) is one of the most elegant country houses in East Anglia and Blickling Hall with its Jacobean house and formal parkland, is 11.5 miles away.

A very comfortable and cosy, well equipped property. Perfectly placed for exploring North Norfolk and a lovely place to come back to after a day of beach combing or cliff walking. Really comfortable beds. Just an all round great stay.

We had a lovely stay over Easter. Lovely location and very well equipped house. The majority of the house was very comfortable and well set up for children. The only downside was the damp feel and smell on the top floor despite adhering to the strict instructions to keep windows and doors open all the time.

Lovely property with everything you could need. Nice touches like towels, soap and sufficient toilet paper in all three toilets. Big fluffy towels appreciated. Pub The White Horse is dog friendly and very good food and helpful staff. The hotel Sea Marge is worth a visit for a special occasion. Great food in spectacular building.

We have spent a very enjoyable week in this spacious, well equipped house with fine views. We found the house spotlessly clean and wonderfully light and airy. So many interesting places to visit and lovely coastal walks. The excellent garden space was a bonus. We have tried several holiday houses over the years and this house has been a favourite. East Dene was in an excellent location, just outside Cromer, on the coast. It was comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed walking along the coast and catching the bus back as well as swimming in the sea. Lovely area and hope to return again.

The property was lovely, but clearly had not been recently cleaned before our arrival as there were lots of cobwebs and lots of dead flies on the window sill in the main bathroom. The space, layout and location were excellent though as was the large garden.
