At a glance

  • Stylish and bijou apartment located in the heart of North Quay, Padstow
  • Balcony with table and chairs and stunning views over the harbour and estuary
  • Wonderfully romantic bolthole for two with floor-to-ceiling windows and French doors

Property code: OC-P00685

This stunning top-floor apartment is in the perfect location for foodies, surfers, and dog lovers alike, close to the hustle and bustle of Padstow Harbour with amazing restaurants, beaches and walks nearby. Wander the cobbled streets to explore the town or head out on beautiful cliff-top walks along the South West Coast Path with your furry friend. At the end of a fantastic day, kick back with a drink on the balcony and enjoy the views across the estuary to Rock.

The flat has bags of style with contemporary decor and furnishings throughout and has been thoughtfully designed with everything you could need for a comfortable, romantic stay for two. The double bedroom has luxurious bed linen and an en-suite shower room, and there’s a comfortable living room/kitchen with a Smart TV and a Nespresso coffee machine. The balcony, which is made for two, boasts excellent views of the estuary and offers relaxing furniture to unwind on.

Lots of the beaches nearby welcome four-legged friends. About 4 miles away is Constantine Bay, a long, curved beach with golden sands and rock pools – great for surfing and playing ball. It’s open to dogs all year round as are Harbour Cove (a 2-mile walk along the coastal path) and Harlyn Bay (3 miles away). You can also take your canine companion on a boat trip across the estuary to Rock if they’ve got their sea legs! The area has some great cycling routes too. The Camel Trail is an 18-mile route that runs the length of the disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow. It’s broken into sections, with the part from Padstow to Wadebridge being about 5.5 miles. Padstow is a haven for foodies, with some amazing fine dining restaurants in the town and lots of pubs and eateries that open their doors to furry family members.

It is a truly beautiful little apartment which we cannot praise too highly, the bed being truly one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in so these are merely observations rather than criticism. I am 85 so struggle with an induction hob, took my own frying pan for all the lovely fish available and spent a while to figure out the problem (alsoRead more the touch control vanity unit!) - it might be worth informing technophobe guests like me in advance - still, it was fun finding out! A little gem! Cosy, comfortable and in a fantastic location. A perfect spot for walking, exploring the wider area, or just simply watching the hustle and bustle around the harbour. Even Storm Ingrid didnt spoil our enjoyment of this lovely place.

The perfect little place we could have wished for during our foodie adventure to Padstow. Brilliant location, cosy, very comfortable, well equipped, beautifully clean and perfect in every way. Right in the heart of everything but still quiet and peaceful, just lovely, thank you.

Can't emphasis enough how fabulous laying in bed and looking straight out, across living area, through front windows to sand and sea is! This little apartment has everything you need gadget/utensil wise and is so well organised in it's use of space that you never feel cramped- ceiling slopes in kitchen, but at 5 ft10 I soon got used to it- not a bRead moreiggie. Immaculately clean Quality accommodation. Bed is comfy. Shower is powerful. Balcony is a joy- though not peaceful as Padstow harbour is very busy- but we liked that (you can feel a bit on show, but it's especially lovely for morning coffee and evening drinks, after crowds go) So close to brilliant pubs/restaurants/shops- ferry over to rock is 2 minutes walk. Path to beach likewise. Ferry to rock runs every 15 minutes and then you can enjoy rock beach- great for swimming and sheltered, or walk to Daymer bay (half an hour )- caf and toilets(40p!!) Or onto Polzeath (1.5ish hours) boogie boarding/surfing. Lots of facilities. We hope to return for sure- loved it. Hide
