Cosy and quaint to the core, this former fisherman''s cottage is just a stick’s throw from a picturesque seafront that’ll set tails wagging, and a peaceful shoreline you’ll be barking mad not to fall in love with. After exploring the local coastline, no better remedy for weary paws and toes is the homely atmosphere of this welcoming cottage.

The lounge offers a spot reserved just for your four-legged friend beside the comfy sofas in front of the ornamental fireplace. As your top dog dozes in the sunny spots streaming in from the large window, head into the adjoining kitchen/diner behind to rustle up a hearty family meal and tame the growl of hungry tummies. As the evening draws in, tuck your pup into their special blanket to dream of tomorrow’s adventure before heading upstairs to relax in the contemporary single bedroom, or characterful double bedroom which features a gorgeous ornamental fireplace. Your four-legged friend will have a ball chasing their tail in the shared courtyard outside whilst you soak up the last of the afternoon’s sunshine.

Boasting bright, colourful properties on the seafront and a sculpture tribute to Benjamin Britten on the shingle shoreline, you’ll be barking mad not to fall in love with the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh. Enjoying breathtaking views over the sea and following the River Alde towards Orford, treat your pup to an afternoon bounding around the shingled beach less than a mile away before practising the doggy paddle in the waves. Take long walkies around the Georgian high street packed with independent shops, restaurants and art galleries, and sniff out the historic market that boasts the best local produce from this part of Suffolk.

I stayed at this cute little cottage for a week covering Christmas. I had the most relaxing time. It was comfy, cosy, clean and very warm. Being able to park my car safely was a bonus. A very well equipped kitchen so was able to cook a Christmas dinner without any problems. Convenient for the beach and the town. I will definitely return.

The cottage is beautifully warm and cosy, so much so that we had to turn radiators off. It's so easy to walk into the town, and the car parking space at the church is very convenient.

Very quaint, shared rear courtyard (not acceptable esp when others had dogs and thier dogs kept running into our cottage). Very small but efficient bathroom. Cottage on busy thorough fair so noisey.BUT ideal position for walking into town and pubs.

We had a lovely time at the property. It's in a great location, very easy to get to the centre of aldeburgh. Really handy having the parking permit for the church nearby. Katy responded quickly to any questions we had. The TV wasn't the easiest to use but we managed to watch on I Player.
