This welcoming cottage on the edge of Burnham Market is perfect for a family looking for a relaxing holiday where a four-legged third wheel is welcome. Explore Burnham Market with its shops, boutiques and galleries and the surrounding picturesque countryside and spectacular beaches, including Creake Abbey (2.5 miles) where your hound is welcome on a lead.

A delightful property where you can feel at home as soon as you enter, as the decor and furnishings have been designed with comfort in mind. Step into the spacious, light and airy living/dining room where you can sink into the plush sofas and enjoy an evening in front of the TV, play games or plan the next day''s adventure. When the cosy wood burner is lit on chilly evenings, you are sure to find four paws snoozing there. Prepare hearty meals using fresh Norfolk produce in the large kitchen, which is equipped with everything you need. Sit down to meals in the living/dining room, which has plenty of natural light, or take advantage of the outdoor dining area for al fresco dining in fine weather. There are three bedrooms: one king-size, one double and one bunk bedroom. The family bathroom, with a shower over the bath and WC, rounds off this lovely cottage. Outside you will find a landscaped garden with a play area, perfect for a family break. The playground has a trampoline, swings and a mud kitchen. Please supervise your children when they play on this equipment. On warm days, fire up the BBQ and sit down for lunch or dinner on one of the two patio areas with furniture while your four-legged friend plays on the lawn.

Let your pup lead the way to Holkham Beach (5 miles), where scenes from Shakespeare in Love were filmed and where your pup can go mutts running along the sand all year round. Or visit Brancaster (5.5 miles), famous for its flat, golden sandy beach. Alternatively, head to the Royal Park at Sandringham, where your dog can sniff out adventures in the 243 acres of grounds.

The bungalow was lovely and beautifully clean. It was important for us was that it was dog friendly and had a completely enclosed rear garden. I think in the future we will be looking for somewhere where the beach is in walking distance, but that is not a criticism of Oaklea as we were aware we would need to use the car to get to the beach. It is eRead morexpensive to park in the beach car parks. You car get to lots of places with just a short drive. And whilst expensive the beaches are amazing. Hide

This was our second stay in Oaklea. Its a perfect base for families with children. The garden is great and its all well equipped. You can walk to the park, local shops and pubs. Burnham Market is a beautiful village and a wonderful holiday location.

Well-equipped and comfortable cottage made for an excellent stay even in mixed, quite cool weather. Nice to have a lengthy driveway for our car. Would consider re-booking during the lighter nights for evening walks nearby.

We had a very comfortable stay, the kitchen was very well equipped and the back garden enclosed and was warm in the October sunshine.

Excellent cottage, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, handsoap was not provided, first place I've stayed where it hasn't been provided. Garden is lovely, if a little overgrown, other than that would definitely recommend. Perfect place to stay to visit North Norfolk

Nice property very quiet location with in easy walking distance to pubs & restaurants in village. easy access to coastal locations ideal central location for the beautiful unspoiled north Norfolk coast. The garden to the property is huge. ideal for children complete with sunken trapoline

A really lovely cottage, comfortable and quiet. The garden is beautiful and has a lovely area for the children to play in. The location is great, just a short walk into the village, close to pubs and shops and the local park was a hit with our child. Ten minutes drive to Brancaster and it's beautiful beach, all in all a lovely holiday.
