Property code: OC-BRAMBL

Head to Exmoor National Park for a rejuvenating stay in a barn conversion with a homely and cosy atmosphere with high-vaulted ceilings and feature beams. Bring your human and four-legged family with you for some bonding time away from the busyness of everyday life. Spend your time on long dog walks in the moorland and discovering the nearby popular towns of Lynton and Lynmouth as well as the surrounding secluded bays. In the evenings, settle down in this barn conversion with a homely and cosy atmosphere with high-vaulted ceilings and feature beams.

Make yourself at home in the lounge with comfortable sofas and a TV. The kitchen/diner is bright and airy with wooden units next to a table and chairs. Stairs lead down to the lower level where there are two traditional cottage bedrooms with wooden furnishings. One of the bedrooms is a double with an en-suite, and the other is a twin room. There is also a family bathroom. Outside is a patio with garden furniture as well as a lawn, an enclosed garden area and a gas BBQ.

This cottage is located down a quiet country lane which leads onto open moorland. Just 1 mile away is the sleepy hamlet of Barbrook, which has a petrol station and a river running through it. The renowned twin coastal villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are two miles away – where you can find canine-welcoming cafes and restaurants as well as an all-year-round dog-friendly beach. Valley of Rocks (3 miles) is worth sniffing out – it has unusual prehistoric rock formations and excellent clifftop walking routes.

We had a lovely stay, Suzanne made sure she called us to check up on any specifics the week of our arrival and took the time to check all was well. The location right by the moor is fantastic for dog walkers, the cottage itself was lovely exactly as pictured, except the ceilings were higher! We had a great time, thank you Marsdens and Suzanne.

Almost perfect location; only almost because there was no good pub within walking distance (although some people might be happy to walk in to Lynton). However, apart from that the location was quiet and within walking distance of great walks on Exmoor. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms good with lots of hot water. A spacious sitting room with larRead morege, comfortable settees and a well equipped kitchen. Pleasant, fenced garden ideal for the dogs. The owner is helpful and friendly. In all, I would heartily recommend Bramble cottage. Hide

it was a lovely cottage all tidy and clean but only one thing missing was a shower over the bath in double bed bathroom as it is a little dificult to get in and out of bath as you get older but this is just a suggestion not a complaint otherwish perfect
