Property code: OC-P00647

An elegant townhouse bathed in natural light and with elevated water views; this exceptional coastal retreat is ideal for families or groups gatherings adventuring with their furry-legged friends in South Cornwall. Bound along the woodland paths in the outdoor gardens of The Eden Project where refreshing bowls of water are provided for your parched pups, then stretch out tired paws on the rooftop terrace with sweeping views of Fowey Harbour.

This beautifully presented property boasts a chic coastal interior with beamed ceilings and wall panelling, tastefully styled rooms, and sophisticated neutral tones. Step into the bright kitchen/diner with stylish navy cabinets and a feature backsplash then rustle up some post-adventure snacks for your hungry pack. Perch at the table with an aperitif or cosy up by the wood burner with a dozing hound by your side. Take advantage of the useful utility space for any mucky pups of the group. Retreat upstairs to the top floor lounge and sink onto the comfortable seats with a sweet treat or ascend the winding exterior staircase to the wonderful rooftop terrace for sunsets, stargazing, and al fresco tipples. The three bedrooms are spread across the first and second floor and consist of an en-suite super-king, a flexible king/twin, and a bespoke built-in bunk for children.

Curious canines will enjoy a good sniff in the salty breeze as you saunter along the colourful houses and harbourside, within 200 metres, then hop aboard the dog-friendly ferry to nearby Polruan and watch Fido feel the breeze in his fur, 500 metres. Get tails wagging with blustery beachfront walkies at Par Sands Beach backed by grassy sand dunes that are perfect for bounding and rolling, 3 miles.

We had everything that we wanted for a very comfortable stay. The property was warm, very well appointed with a superb kitchen and bathrooms. The views from the top floor were lovely. We felt very spoiled by the luxurious living style and convenience of being in the heart of Fowey.

Fabulous! Dcor was lovely, beds very comfy and views from the lounge and roof terrace are wonderful. Right in the centre of Fowey with the added bonus of a parking space right outside which is very rare. We had a lovely week at Guinevere

A lovely house, furnished to a high standard and the location could not be any more central, comes with a parking space which is worth its weight in Gold. We cannot wait to return.

The main reason for selecting this property was its views of the estuary. However, there were 2 factors which significantly reduced its appeal. Firstly, 3 of the double glazed windows in the Lounge were 'blown' meaning that we could not see through them. Secondly, the loungers for the roof terrace, in my opinion, were not good enough. One kept collRead moreapsing and one looked very dodgy so I was not prepared to test it. Of the remaining two, one was ok but I didn't test the other (my wife was not interested in using them because of their condition). I have not put these comments on Trip Adviser but would appreciate your comments re this feedback Hide

Lovely 4 storey house with views from upstairs lounge. About the only rental property in Fowey with parking space.

Poor kitchen equipment for cooking, lack of decent glasses. No actual wine glasses they were plastic. The tumblers were chipped. No Sonos speakers as in description. So no personal music could be played. The entrance door to roof top was stiff and subsequently cut hand, the floor was filthy and slippery to the stairs of the rooftop. The karcRead moreher should have been put away. The welcome book was not easily found, the information on rubbish and recycling was not clear. Disappointing that no equipment was in the upstairs kitchen so has to split what little was available downstairs. The freezer in the utility room couldnt open properly due to the toilet so it wasnt very clean inside and the door sharp where it was broken previously where Im imagine people were trying to put things in there. Finally the flooring by the sink in the downstairs kitchen is a trip hazard and numerous times there were accidents where the flooring had lifted. The tap in kitchen is broken. And also we had the plumber out to fix the bath tap as it had broken. Hide
