Step inside this delightful property, with a contemporary lounge and dining area being the perfect place for you and your hound to relax. The entrance hall is the place to keep your canine accessories and check for muddy paws and boots. The large lounge has plenty of comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner with a slate hearth, making this an ideal choice year-round, as your pups can stay warm from nose to tail. Sliding patio doors from the lounge area lead out onto the rear courtyard. A separate kitchen has all you need to prepare delicious meals. Or take a dog’s day out to Cornwall’s popular Penzance (6 miles), with plenty of sandy beaches to spend memorable days surfing, swimming, or sunbathing. Your pup is welcome on Chyandour and Eastern Green and Wherrytown beaches (8 miles) all year round.

Its our second stay at this cottage and weve loved it both times. Listening to the sea whilst falling asleep was amazing and stunning views. Would go again tomorrow!

The property is an end terrace with off road parking to the rear. It is a little dated and would benefit from some refurbishment especially the shower. The central heating was more than sufficient, but the wood burner was a nice to have and had to be used! Excellent location with easy access to the coastal path and local beach. Very good cafes and Read moresuperb food served at the local pub, all within 2 minute walk. Garden is not fully enclosed and has a low wall that dogs can easily jump. Overall we had a great week and are planning to rebook for next year. Hide

A perfect location for exploring the south coast with a gorgeous beach and the south west coast path quite literally on the doorstep. Lovely, quiet little village and a great view from the property.

Fabulous location. The property just needs lots of money spending on it to make it more in line with other properties of this price. Kitchen especially needs gutting, knocking through etc

I only gave equipment 3 and not a 4 because I felt a few small items were missing such as hand soap both downstairs in the kitchen and upstairs. There is no hand basin in the toilet, though I understand the preference for a washing machine instead of a hand basin (washing machine was very useful) but liquid sanitiser in the toilet would have been uRead moreseful. Foil would have been useful as is not the sort of thing you think of bringing and more tea towels. also hooks in the bathroom and bedroom doors that are not the stick on variety as they just fall off with the slightest of weight. also the tv remotes really need checking every time as they had a real problem, maybe the batteries. time and time again this is a problem in rental properties as they are never thought to be checked properly. Comfort, generally very comfy, especially the bed which was wonderful. It was also lovely and warm, too warm in fact so we kept turning it off. a good size kitchen lounge and bedrooms too. The settee though was not very comfy for us. Generally we loved the cottage very much, especially the view and the proximity to the beach. I have stayed in Perran most years for 40 years. During childhood I stayed in 'Sunnyside' but now we have a dog and they do not take dogs and it is very expencive so I was very pleased to find 4 Withey cottage with a secure garden for our little dog. Please do not change the garden to AstroTurf monstrosity as that is no good for dogs, wildlife, or children's bare feet as it getting burning hot in the sun and just does not look like the Cornish countryside and a suitable foreground to the fields and sea view. Beautiful location and comfy cottage

A great place to stay in a wonderful spot with amazingly varied views of the sea, sky and land, all framing each other and creating light shows at the drop of a hat....It was wonderful to be a hundred yards or so from the beautiful safe beach, perfect for children and dogs. The cottage was full of light, simply furnished and spotlessly clean. We weRead morere there in January, which is the best possible test of a holiday cottage's appeal, and were warm and cosy. As a base for walking, swimming and eating good local food (lots of lovely cafes and restaurants nearby) it is hard to beat. Hide

We have just returned from a short holiday in the attractive village of Perranuthnoe. The cottage is light and well equipped with very comfortable beds and wonderful views of the sea which is just a few minutes walk away. My most vivid memory is of waking up at night to see the moonlight shining on the sea! There is something here for everyone of aRead morell ages, lovely walks through the woods and over moorland down to the coast path, a rich variety of birds and plants, and l;ovely beaches with lots to explore. A delightful beach cafe with all day meals and snacks and hot drinks to revive the swimmers and surfers. We can't wait to go back! Hide

A lovely cottage in a great location , it was clean and tidy!, loved the flowers and the cream tea that had been left for us. A wonderful place for holidays at the seaside! Nice, well equipped house with a marvelous view and a nice place to sit outside. Also cosy to stay at home. Opportunities to hike, visit the beach and many interesting places and eat very well in walking distance... really gorgious!

Ideal location and property very good but there are some issues with black mould. On ceiling in front bedroom, on ceiling in rear room with single beds and in the downstairs toilet ceiling which had also crept up the net curtains (probably because of the washer drier) Some had been painted over unsuccessfully as it had come through. I am allergiRead morec to most things including damp and mould so had to change bedrooms but I discovered all rooms have it. There was no washing up bowl so had to wastefully fill the kitchen sink with hot water all the time. It didn't stop us enjoying our holiday but the above was irksome especially my allergic reaction to the mould. Hide
