Located in the peaceful village of Trewellard, this traditional two-bedroom granite cottage is perfectly placed for exploring the magnificent scenery and rugged coastlines of West Cornwall, just a stick’s throw from a wonderful coastal path. Sleeping four humans and two pup pals, this is a great spot for a memorable family holiday.
Your canine companion will adore curling up on your lap as you plan the day’s adventure on the quaint window seat, set in an exposed brick wall in the open-plan lounge/dining room. Once you’re home, this is a wonderful room to hunker down for the evening, on the sofa with Rover dozing on the rug beside you. Enjoy the hearty meal you’ve prepared in the well-equipped kitchen around the compact wooden dining set as your pup sniffs out a cosy spot underneath the stairs. Retreat upstairs to the en-suite king-size or twin bedroom, both featuring colourful decor. Cleaning sandy paws in the bathroom is as easy as admiring the magnificent surrounding sea views, with glimpses of the Isles of Scilly on a clear day. The enclosed courtyard is a safe spot for little paws to pad around as you enjoy dining alfresco.
Nestled in an area synonymous with Cornwall’s mining history, Pendeen is a small village boasting several 19th-century stone miner’s cottages and a variety of local shops in the town centre. Lead the way to an adventure with your four-pawed pal along rugged heather-clad moors to sniff out the impressive Carn Kenidjack, 1.5 miles away, a unique rocky outcrop rising 650ft above sea level. Situated on a headland known as Pendeen Watch, take epic walkies around Pendeen Lighthouse, where you can admire breathtaking views over the secluded coves below whilst your pup soaks up the salty sea air. The South West Coast Path also provides a quiet stretch to explore together.
