This beautifully converted three-bedroom mill house is surrounded by wonderful, rugged countryside with half an acre of lawned gardens and a stream that your pup will go mutts for. Sleeping six guests and two lucky pups, this is an idyllic rural retreat for the whole pack.
Take the local goodies you’ve collected and head into the spacious kitchen/diner, well-equipped with everything you need to get creative, as well as enough room for your pup’s blanket beside the farmhouse-style wooden dining table and chairs. Rover will not be able to resist the inviting call of the cosy wood burner in the generous dual-aspect lounge, with lots of comfortable sofas and lovely warm spots of sunlight for Rover to doze in. When it’s time to let sleeping dogs lie, hunker down in any of the three calming bedrooms, sending you to sleep with tails tagging. Your pup will go barking mad discovering half an acre of garden, featuring an extensive lawn with a private stream and a footbridge that links to a beautiful patio terrace. A wonderful rotating summerhouse is also perfect for enjoying the sunshine throughout the daytime and long into the evening.
West of the market town of Penzance, the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole is a maze of bustling narrow streets lined with independent shops, cafes and restaurants. You and your pup will have a ball adventuring over the ancient rocky causeway from Marazion Beach, 9 miles away, which is completely submerged at high tide; during the summer months, you may even spot dolphins or seals along your journey. Take the lead and join the South West Coast Path less than 2 miles away for brilliant walkies with your canine companion to Lamorna where you’ll be rewarded with a picture-perfect sheltered rocky cove at the foot of a wooded valley.
