Property code: OC-KEMYEL

This beautifully converted three-bedroom mill house is surrounded by wonderful, rugged countryside with half an acre of lawned gardens and a stream that your pup will go mutts for. Sleeping six guests and two lucky pups, this is an idyllic rural retreat for the whole pack.

Take the local goodies you’ve collected and head into the spacious kitchen/diner, well-equipped with everything you need to get creative, as well as enough room for your pup’s blanket beside the farmhouse-style wooden dining table and chairs. Rover will not be able to resist the inviting call of the cosy wood burner in the generous dual-aspect lounge, with lots of comfortable sofas and lovely warm spots of sunlight for Rover to doze in. When it’s time to let sleeping dogs lie, hunker down in any of the three calming bedrooms, sending you to sleep with tails tagging. Your pup will go barking mad discovering half an acre of garden, featuring an extensive lawn with a private stream and a footbridge that links to a beautiful patio terrace. A wonderful rotating summerhouse is also perfect for enjoying the sunshine throughout the daytime and long into the evening.

West of the market town of Penzance, the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole is a maze of bustling narrow streets lined with independent shops, cafes and restaurants. You and your pup will have a ball adventuring over the ancient rocky causeway from Marazion Beach, 9 miles away, which is completely submerged at high tide; during the summer months, you may even spot dolphins or seals along your journey. Take the lead and join the South West Coast Path less than 2 miles away for brilliant walkies with your canine companion to Lamorna where you’ll be rewarded with a picture-perfect sheltered rocky cove at the foot of a wooded valley.

Beautiful cottage, great location. Stayed here 3 times. This year standards had slipped in cleanliness, decoration and general maintenance. All easily fixed and I hope the letting agent takes the feedback as its intended. Lovely cottage, let down by a lesser standard of care and attention to detail

An excellent cottage with all you need for a relaxing break. The location may be a little remote for some, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Second stay and already planning our next break to this cottage

The cottage was absolutely perfect in many aspects. It was spacious enough to accommodate our family including a toddler and 2 dogs ( crated ). The garden space is by far the best weve experienced in the UK and the views of the neighbouring cows is exquisite. The location is perfect, and gives you the opportunity to travel to multiple destinations Read morein a day; And being positioned on a dead-end track, you very rarely cross paths with anyone else. The kitchen is very well stocked with cutlery, plates, pots & pans and utensils which is clear the owners have done staycations and correcting where others go wrong. All of these are high quality too. Last, but not least, the welcome pack of Cleaning Pack, Tea & Coffee, Scones, Jam and Cream and a pint of Milk is just what you need after a long 8 hours car journey.. with 2 dogs and a toddler! I can 100% confirm we will be returning. Hide

A beautiful serene, peaceful home. The photos don't do the place any justice as it was everything you see online and more. Beautiful gardens to enjoy with lots of space for the kids and dog to run around in. Perfect location for exploring with plentiful footpaths through lush fields and coastal paths. Mousehole is only a 25 minute stroll througRead moreh the fields, with Lamorna cove 20 minutes in the other direction. The home itself is filled with thoughtful touches ready to welcome you and a kitchen that is great for cooking family meals. My only regret is that we didnt stay longer. Hide

This cottage is amazing. I would love it to be my home. It has everything you need to chill and relax. The best part is the cows that are on the joining field. They come very close to the fence. My children loved going to say hello everyday. Everything within the cottage is high quality and well looked after. I would love to visit again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was so lovely. Excellently equipped and so inviting. We all felt so relaxed here from the moment we arrived. Our dogs were also very relaxed and content. The area is so peaceful, but you also have the luxury of a short drive into Penzance. The recent renovations had definitely made the property much better.Read more We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back soon. The added bonus of the scones, cream and jam that had been left for us were a lovely surprise. Such a beautiful property and area Hide

We stayed at kemyel Mill House from 13th-20th September 2024 Beautiful country side building which could be stunning. Let down by the cleanliness and neglect (cleaner came in after complaining but we unfortunately we found more after she had left). Mold around bath, dust, dirt and cobwebbs everywhere, dirty freezer, smelly fridge, dirty and staineRead mored floors etc. Could do with new sofa's. The beds are lovely and comfortable although slats are not fixed on single beds. Garden table unusable as needs a lot of tlc and has plants growing out of it. The "stunning 360 summerhouse" as advertised is dangerous and also unusable as wood is rotting and is covered in green mildew and does not turn. We complained twice during our stay regarding the garden furniture but had NO response at all regarding this. It is such a shame because this is really a beautiful but neglected property. Hide
